Every surface of the home was thoughtfully considered and meticulously transformed. All four-and-a-half bathrooms were taken down to the studs and rebuilt to offer a fresh, modern sensibility. The kitchen and adjacent walk-in pantry were fully gutted, with the pantry reimagined as a bespoke butler’s pantry complete with a wine fridge and built-in Miele coffee system. While the original hardwood floors were retained for their natural warmth and character, we introduced contrast by painting all window casings and base moldings, creating a rich and sophisticated frame throughout the space.
In the living room, we opted to drywall the ceiling, concealing the existing orange-toned tongue-and-groove planks to allow the beautiful wood beam to take center stage. The built-in shelving was preserved, refreshed with a deep, moody paint color, and under-shelf lighting to create ambient depth. A cascading statement light fixture was installed above the staircase, a sculptural element that draws the eye from all three floors and becomes a defining architectural moment in the home.
Each bedroom received new carpeting, fresh paint, custom window treatments, and thoughtfully curated furnishings that reflect a seamless blend of comfort, style, and retreat-like tranquility. New furnishings throughout the home further unified the space, transforming it into a personal escape that feels both elevated and entirely livable.
This project was especially meaningful for our team, not only for the scope and setting, but for the continued trust and creative collaboration with clients who truly value thoughtful design. It was a privilege to help bring new life to their Colorado retreat, creating a space that is as refined as it is restorative.
